Dr. Jasmine Karsono has worked at P&G for over 8 years and is based in Singapore. As Principal Scientist, Dr. Karsono focuses her work on hair biology and product technology and works closely with the Beauty Care Research & Development team that designs new hair care and skin care cosmetic products for the Asia Pacific region.

She is also one of P&G’s scientific spokesperson on Cosmetic Science & Technology to external authorities including government/regulatory officials, thought-leaders, dermatologists, medical doctors, beauty editors & hair stylists in Australia, India, Korea & South-East Asia. Dr. Karsono began her career working in the Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PS&RA) department for the Personal Health Care Business Unit, and later on was responsible for Central Product Safety. Dr. Karsono has a PhD in Biochemisty/ Immunology from the University of California USA, and M.Sc in Cellular & Molecular Biology in San Francisco State University and a B.Sc. in Human Biology from the University of Utah, USA.
